Plain City
Enhancing the village’s downtown businesses and in the surrounding area, the Plain City Business Association (PCBA) is actively involved. They enjoy a strong working relationship with village officials. Events and activities by the PCBA include:

| Networking |
The PCBA is predominately a monthly networking opportunity for all attendees to talk about their businesses. Periodically speakers are invited to share small business practices that may positively affect others. These meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30a.m. If you have any questions, please contact the Union County Chamber at (800-642-0087). |
| Downtown Christmas Festivities |
The PCBA lights the annual Christmas tree. The rest of the festivities are free to the residents which includes pictures with Santa, sleigh rides, gifts and refreshments. This event is held on Thanksgiving weekend. |
| Car Show |
For several years the PCBA sponsors an annual summer car show designed to bring more vision to the downtown area. |
| The PCBA supports a number of other community activities, most noticeably, the highly attended Miami Valley Steam Threshers events held in the middle of July annually. This event highlights vintage farm machinery, flea markets, crafts, food, etc. |
| The PCBA projects include selling Christmas tree ornaments and Bicentennial t-shirts. More recently, the PCBA erected new signs on the major highways into the village. |
